Voltaix Strengthens Customer And Technical Support Capabilities With Two Key Hires
North Branch, NJ - Voltaix®, www.voltaix.com, a leading manufacturer of chemicals and gases
for the semiconductor and photovoltaic industries, today announced the appointment of Gregory
T. Muhr as Global Sales Manager and Jay Song, Ph.D. as Technical Marketing Director.
Voltaix has been experiencing rapid growth as the company’s key, enabling semiconductor
chemicals have become molecules of choice for 65 nm and 45 nm manufacturing technologies.
The company is also experiencing rapid growth in the thin film solar markets where Voltaix
chemicals provide critical photovoltaic efficiency improvements. Dr. Song and Mr. Muhr have
joined Voltaix to support the rapid growth of the company and to improve its ability to rapidly
bring new molecules to the marketplace.
Mr. Muhr has more than 20 years experience in the semiconductor industry in various technical,
product management and sales capacities at Air Products, Epichem and SAFC Hitech™. He
holds a degree in Chemistry from Dickinson College. Greg is an inventor of three U.S. patented
technologies, and has authored several publications.
Dr. Song has more than 18 years experience in the semiconductor industry in various capacities
at several companies, including Electro Scientific Industries, Novellus Systems, National
Semiconductor, and LG Semiconductor. Jay holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and
Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He is an inventor of two U.S. and nine Korean
patented technologies, and has authored several publications.
